(or with all the I's it could be I I I - Me Me Me )
Red Door
I know that it’s selfish
but I want my turn soon.
I’ve been waiting here for a while now
and I can’t help but notice
that lots of people are going through
and I want in too.
I want to spin and fall
and be flung across the room.
I want to fall inside of your eyes*
and never crawl out.
I want ‘in love’ not just love
me
. . . . me me me
you . . you . you
moments of just you
. waiting, for moments of just you
I want to bury myself in your hair
lost in the smell of coconut
Hawaiian tropic, sandy toes
salt on your skin
. . please, . don’t leave
Red Door

thank you Mat

Re: Red Door
I enjoyed this. I liked the idea of falling into someone's eyes and never crawling out. That was a really great image.
