Aaah Jaarkko ! That sense of humour of yours. Sitting at the pc in work, cos no internet at home. There at 8.30, browsing the threads. No panic, all going so well... 9.05....no code, coffee break indeed... 9.10,...where is everyone. ?
why no thread. OMG i'm in the wrong ******ing place.
Thanks to the 17 yr old son who came along to help, he got me up on another pc and found the thread. So I got my tickets, but only for area B.
Keep thinking:
a) what kind of fool am I for getting it so wrong after being awake since 6am?
b) how dare I be disappointed at 'only' getting tickets for area b ?
c) would I have made it into the A area if I'd been paying attention ?


Anyhoo, still no internet at home...getting new service in next week cos Vodaphone are the total worst ever.

As for Sligo........The sun will shine all week-end and we will all have a fabulous time in one of the most beautiful places on this earth (only 2 hrs drive for me).

Oh yes, and LC and the team will fall in love with the West of Ireland and come back often.
Happy again after all the drama.

Re name tags...
Here is a request with love to Maarten to see if you are into making Sligo name tags...your name tags for Barcelona and for San Jose/ Las Vegas were fantastic...if you are up to the task as I know its a lot of work. At the meet ups we all paid him when we met and proudly wore our name tags!

just wondering how I go about buying a presale ticket?

I got mine. Middle of section C. I borrowed a credit card yesterday and had three section A tickets and the card failed. Needless to say I got a little sick, but it is what it is. At the front or the back, it'll be magical. Anyone any idea how long we should be expecting to wait before Ticketmaster sends the tickets our way?

Edit: I'd like to thank this website in particular for providing the pre-sale link. I got to see Leonard at the O2 in Dublin last year and had my spine firmly pressed against the back wall, so I'm thankful that the view will be slightly better this time around.

Here is a request with love to Maarten to see if you are into making Sligo name tags...your name tags for Barcelona and for San Jose/ Las Vegas were fantastic...if you are up to the task as I know its a lot of work. At the meet ups we all paid him when we met and proudly wore our name tags!

I have already emailed Carlowmike that it would be my honour to make nametags for the Sligo concert(s?), but I don't want to intrude in any arrangements made by the Irish Cohenites, so if someone else wants to take care of this: go ahead! If not, I will start a list for nametags etc... later on. We still have lots of time for this, but it's good to start early, right? Perhaps it's best to make the combination with a list of who will be present at the pre concert meetup, concert and post concert meetups. That was really helpful in Barcelona and Vegas/San José aswell. So I might just wait for more details about the meetups from someone local (Carlowmike).

Jarkko advise gates open 4pm, show at 7pm.

Maarten, I don't think anyone would have an issue with you arranging the name tags, you know how to do it afterall. On the day I will be more than happy to help you distribute them or anything else you need help with. I vote Maarten to organise the name tags.

Mike, looks like a great place for the pre concert meetup, any ideas about after the show, maybe back to the Radisson, lots of us staying there. I am happy to help in any way I can, just let me know.

Wouldn't it be something special if they recorded an Irish gig - especially an open air one. How would we go about agitating for this so that we can have a record for posterity? The London concert DVD is great but I think an Irish audience would add that extra magic. Anyone agree?

Im with you there. It would be just magical to have a recording of the concert. Everyone knows the Irish are fantastic at concerts. Well, I am biased but what the hay. So, how do we go about planting these seeds in Leonard's head ? I have no idea. Anyone got his email address ? If this is his last ever concert in Ireland in one of his favourate places maybe its on the cards as we speak. Any ideas Jarkko ?? Still on a high after getting such great seats for Lissadell. Forever indebted to the forum and Jarkko. Counting down the days.
