Elvis Costello on the prospect of Leonard Cohen appearing on his interview series, Spectacle.
I remember going to see Leonard Cohen (in concert) and thinking, `He’ll never be on Spectacle because he doesn’t need to do it.’ He need never do another interview for anybody, because the show is perfect, the most perfect show I think I’ve ever seen. Everything is explained to the degree that I think is appropriate, anything else I feel would be an intrusion into his life that I wouldn’t want to make.

AWESOME!!! We all knew it was perfect, but Costello is a trained professional! I can't think of a person I would rather see interview Leonard. Well, except for me. and you. or another true fan/forum member.
From bitter searching of the heart, we rise to play a greater part. Frank Scott (Although I would never have heard it if it weren't for Leonard Cohen).

I got notice last week about the new Spectacle lineup and before I looked at the names I hoped beyond hope that I might see the name "Leonard Cohen." No such luck. :(

its brilliant and I am really enjoying it.

no doubt some or all of elvis's appearance will turn up on the main radio 5 web site in due course.
