Re: OFFICIAL - Philly Concert Moved to Tower Theater
Hallelujah!! This is wonderful news. I love the Tower Theater!
Thank you!
Marie - I bought through the presale and have the confirmation that I printed from the computer - not tickets. Do you by any chance know if I can go to Live Nation on Saturday and obtain actual tickets?
Thank you!

I have submitted your question to the folks at AEG right now. They want to do everything they can to make this move good for everyone. Linda, your first hand knowledge of the Tower Theater venue is very helpful. Thanks for sharing with everyone.Marie - I bought through the presale and have the confirmation that I printed from the computer - not tickets. The official announcement is here:
http://www.leonardcohenfiles.com/phillymove.pdf
AEG and the tour management want to underline that they will do everything they can to get people a seat comparable to the one they currently have. The good news is that the show is now in a beautiful and historic theatre that people will love. Our members can exchange their tickets at the Live Nation Box Office starting on Sat (info in the announcement) or they can come down to the venue starting at noon. Please come down early to pick up tickets so you can make plans for the rest of your day! The tour management also wants to thank our members for their patience. Its going to be a magical night!!!
Marie has asked AEG for confirmation about the will call tickets. The previous paragraph (copied from an email received from our contact person) would suggest that the tickets can be picked up already on Saturday, but I am sure we will get answer on Friday.

Re: OFFICIAL - Philly Concert Moved to Tower Theater
AEG emailed me some moments ago:
For members who have will call tickets:[the new tickets will be issued] "By price level, close as possible to their Spectrum location. Sooner they exchange the better."
If fans wish to exchange their tickets in advance, they may do so beginning this Saturday, October 17th, at 10am at the LIVE NATION BOX OFFICE, 111 Presidential Blvd, Bala Cynwyd, Pa 19004. The LIVE NATION BOX OFFICE will also be open from 10am to 6pm Monday through Wednesday.
And one more from the tour management;they will be pulled at our office.
When the customer comes into exchange they show ID, we will have
their ticket order in front of us to exchange.
Yes – the fan club will be able to pick up their tickets early from the Live Nation offices starting on Saturday. Please tell your members to make sure they bring ID and if possible, the receipt for their order in case of any issues. We will only have the name of the customer who purchased the tickets, so whoever purchased the tickets will have to pick them up.

Re: OFFICIAL - Philly Concert Moved to Tower Theater
I bought tickets on presale. They would not distribute the tickets but required showing up within 90 minutes of the concert (Will call). It is not reasonable to expect people who have bought tickets to go to Bala Cynwyd to pick them up (which is a distance away). Can the tickets be picked up on a will call basis (before concert) on the 22nd? or emailed?

Forgot to add... can tickets be picked up on "will call" basis at the Tower Theater (as would have been the case at the spectrum)???
