Jo, I didn't say "shithead", attempt another translation.. The shark phrase must be vernacular from somewhere near an ocean. Thanks, I'll add it to my arse-enal.
And you, Young Dr. Freud, you are not young. In fact you are long dead, died of a very painful throat cancer, caused by your complete helplessness against your tobacco habit. Feminists put a stake through your heart in the seventies. You cannot be resurrected. You are no-one to give therapy to substance abusers and are in no shape to conduct a group therapy session, poor bastard.

Young Dr Freud sounds the antithesis of that he portrays, an ageing cokehead, according to Lightning, who smokes too much and is anti-femanist, oops and a vampire. He does not sound like the person to give anybody advice on substance abuse. Do you Old Mr Void!!!!

Ay! This is a owl, not a cuckoo, at the top of this thread.

Anyway not bad, Young Dr. Freud. Please allow me to add notes :
Young dr. Freud wrote: Heretic/partisan -- Alpha Male (in Abstensia) -- Controls group while saying little. Rarely shows up for therapy session.

Hum... It seems a nice paranoiac tendency, here. BTW how it goes in your analysis?
Tchocolatl -- Passive Aggressive -- Schizophrenia? Seems to be living a double life. Subtly misinterprets other patients words -- Very devious -- (Watch this one carefully)

Hum, yes. PSM instead of Passive Aggressive.

And for this forum only : Multiple Personality Disorder instead of "seems to live a double life". I used other avatars, here, in the past. I never liked any of them until this one. That is why.

"Subtly misinterprets other (...) words" : I'm sure they can explain their words themselves if I (or anybody) misinterpret them.

For the rest, poor real old Dr. Freud himself had to give up in front of the "morality" of his time and have to say that all the incests he heard from his patients were hysteria and, of course, the patients where very very sick to talk about the truth like this. Same thing for the opponents of totalitarian systems.

Nice try to make me laugh (if it was) and I'm sorry to add to the grim of this forum, right now, but I just saw a report about prostitution of minors in Romania, just another touristic industry like it goes in many countries where poverty is too heavy on people. When I hear a father say to a man of about 50 years old : "For X dollars he can go in you mouth, he can go in your ass but you can not touch him" I feel that the reality is much more ugly than the majority likes to admit. They prefer to keep there eyes shot on all what goes wrong in the world and in themselves and to shoot at the messenger that announced bad news. Bad news are part of the game, however.

They also prefer to keep their eyes shut on the very truth that we are devastating the planet. Who cares? They will be dead, then, they say. Where went all these ideas about a better world? Did they all stay stuck on an acid trip somewhere? The truth is that Baby Boomers are going old and they are upset by the needs of the youth. "The wisdom of old" is to sale, now.

And if I disagree with the method and the attack directed toward the sole L as a representative of her generation, I must say that what SC was saying about his generation not to be taking in account by the precedent generations is the most beautiful lotus flower that grows out of all the mud.

(I'm going to disactivate the "alarm" that goes on my e-mail when somebody post a reply - then this must be my "real last post" for a while, now).

What on earth has happened in this forum over the last week? What's with all the hostility?? I've been away for about a week and when I return? Chaos. I've read over the posts, so I know what has been said, and expressed but...I'm bewildered...

I'm all for free speech and self-expression and I agree with someone's point here that if you can't express yourself in this forum then what's the point of having it at all. It's a good thing if people can tell one another that they are not particularly flattered by certain statements and respond. It seems though that the provocative statements were about picking a fight with other members and just being downright insulting for no real reason. Does it really have to get into a downward spiral of nastiness and namecalling? Even to generate a score of posts? I might have missed the point (and I'm sure I will hear about it).

As Tchoco illustrates, there are many more horrendous things happening out in the real world that we don't/won't/can't deal with than someone using emoticons, and I thought that the reason we came here is to discuss LC and other things with fellow fans?

Anyway, all good things to you all. I hope for an improvement in guest relations.

Lovely Tchoc, do not despair. Every generation squawks that it has gotten a raw deal from the preceding generation. Each generation leaves the world in a bigger mess than the generation that begat them. Sept and his generation are and will be no exception. Unlike others on this board, I do not know much psychology but I doubt that angst about the world is the motive for Sept's postings.

So get some rest and come back to the board.

Cheers

Mark B. people can see the reality diffently and they often stress the details that are more important for them while they seems to be blind about the rest. Just LOOK AT THIS as a sample of what we are talking about and you will easely come to the conclusion that we can discuss the matter to the end of times. I prefer quote Z's words and act accordingly;-)
the reason we came here is to discuss LC
All good things to you, too.

Do you see, Tchoc? Your sympathy for Sept is entirely misplaced.

Mark B., honey, some people say that my sympathy for humanity is totally misplaced. What can I do? I am just what I am, certainly not perfect.

SC you are bored easily isn't it? OK lets play again. Well I'm hurt now and I take it personnally and I'm very very angry. If this would not be a board I would run after you with a pot or something to throw at you head. But for your punishment I just can put another one :for A to Z

Yes, by George, you're Wright! the intergalactic messaging system must be what is responsible for the scrambled words of SC. Maybe we need a decoder???

Zabka, i think SC is speaking through a filter and it ain't for coffee!!!!
Maybe this stops the shit he's talking from dropping on him!!!!
I think he needs to clean out his little perforations, because they appear all clogged up.

too good...or maybe the little perforations all turned into a big one, which has resulted in the spilling forth which we have experienced?

Zabka, after the deluge we have experienced, this is a plausible explanation.

Excuse me  I think a more "plausible explanation" is that he was stuck in a sewer and now he's shaking himself like a wet dog and doesn't care in which direction the merde flies.
