...and I mistook you as a (quote) serious (unquote) writer.

We all make mistakes.

I wish to make a formal proposal, and this seemed like the best place for it.
oh Cate, of the beautiful hands,
Cate of play and whiskey
Cate of bubble bath
Cate of chocolate cake and coffee
Cate of the eager eye,

will you merry me?

and we shall be forever webbed
for earthquakes and carafes,
for poker and exotic dolls
for as long as we both shall take the breath of Barney Fife?

Take this ring now and cast it into the flame.

Oh Manna of the beautiful mind and smiling eyes
Manna of secret wine missions and voodoo chants
Manna of button gardens and hills
Manna maker of yummy chocolate deserts
Manna of buffalo dancers under the moon

I would love to merry you.

May the carafes always be filled with wine.

That's merriage Georges, not marriage.

Congrets Manna and Cate!

(...Although Manna, I'm a little disappointed; I thought we were becoming close, especially when you pointedly reminded me you were not married to Cate - yet.)

Oh, Imaginary Fiend, I meant no slight with my mirage to Cate.

If you truly luv me, you will understand 2 things:

1. You can write love letters fancy and fine
...so you write to your love and I'll write to mine

meaning: set me free, love me from afar, find your happiness thru my happiness, blah blah blah, for I love Cate.

2. Who says we can't be a 3-sun? I mean just because the planet revolves around 1 sun, that doesn't mean I have to, and if I don't have to, then Cate doesn't have to, and if we don't have to then neither do you. Did you know some people think Jupiter is a failed sun? I don't really know what that means, I'm just parroting something I heard once. Something about comets or something smashing into Jupiter and leaving marks on it bigger than the earth, with explosions bigger than all our biggest bombs combined, and that still not being enough to ignite. But almost! So we have our real sun, our failed sun, and since you're no one's son, you can be ours, and we shall be a 3-sun.

I'm going to go tell Aunt Rhody!

Nix to the 3-sun. You already know what a scaredy-cat I am... or used to be... I'm feeling quite empowered now that you think of me as Imaginary Fiend.

Consider me respectfully withdrawn from the menage.

Smashing planets and bombs. Giant explosions. Revolving around multiple suns.
A 3-sun sounds heavenly, well at least like good fun.

Speaking of heaven, George the answer to you question would be merriment made in heaven.

No

3-sun - three of the same.
For me it was the feminine that I was liking here.

agreed
unfortunately, the Fiend of our Imagination seems to have had her feelings hurt, and is no longer interested. :(

Oh no, I don't want our fiend to have hurt feelings, she's far to sweet for that.
It also seems dear Manna, that you have been caught in the middle here, this won't do.

Our love is strong, we don't need chains. We should have an open mirage, for I know that you will always pedal back to me and I will always skip back to you.
