Sony is (at best) reticent in giving any information on a release schedule on remasters. Assuming the pattern would be in sets of three and since there seems to be six studio albums that amazon is calling 'out of print'; I felt that "two" sets would be released. Repeated searches of Sony/Legacy label websites do not yield any new information.

The remasters were in celebration of Leonard's 40th year of being a recording artist. That window will end by the end of 2008.

If the releases are in chronological order Set 2 would be: New Skin For The Old Ceremony - Death Of A Ladies' Man - Recent Songs

Set 3: Various Positions - I'm Your Man - The Future

Amazon has also listed 'Cohen Live' as being out of print.

Unfortunately, this is 99% conjecture and is predicated mainly by amazon's 'out of print' designation.

According to Amazon New Skin For The Old Ceremony & Field Commander Cohen: Tour Of 1979 is scheduled to be re-released March 1st by SBME Special Products. I'm guessing that SBME is an abbreviation for Sony-BMG Music Enterprises. Neither one is labeled as a remaster. A Saturday release date is very unusual.

If accurate information regarding the release schedule of LC remasters is available, a new posting would be greatly appreciated.
