I've watched it several times since acquiring the DVD a few years ago via eBay. It’s a decent enough adaptation of the novel that certainly has its moments but falls a bit flat in places. J.R. Bourne does the role justice but some of the other actors are a bit wooden. Overall though it’s kind of coo...

This was indeed an interesting program, I can't help but think a little long overdue as well. It's a shame it was so short, but perhaps that's all it really needed to be. I think it brings to light that a new LC documentry/film for this current era is in order.

I concur, it amazes me that Sony hasn't put something like this out on the market yet for LC. I mean it's a fairly standard sort of a thing to do for an artist on their label these days. It seems more and more like a case of neglect and stupidity on their behalf.

Yes, I have as a matter of fact. Most of the time it's been great and I've managed to obtain some real treasures. I've been stung more than once over the years, but that's to be expected I suppose. All I was trying to say is that over the last few months there have been a lot of LC bootleg DVDs up o...

More Cohen on DVD

I've often thought that it's a shame there's so little LC material available on DVD. There's so much that they could put out, yet it hasn't and doesn't seem likely to happen. I'm really amazed that "Songs from the life of" and "Spring 96" haven't been reissued on DVD by Sony. I t...
